Blue Smoothie Bowl

I am all about adding the "good stuff" into my diet and a blue spiraling smoothie is easy way to do it. Classified as a Cyanobacteria (neither animal or plant), blue spirulina is packed with nutrients, healing benefits, and has been a staple in traditional medicine for centuries. Blue spirulina is loaded with Beta-carotene, riboflavin, thiamine, Vitamins C, B6, E and K, and minerals like iron, magnesium, sodium and potassium. This is an easy add to your morning smoothies to give your body and extra boost!

Almond Carrot Top Pesto

Ingredients

2 frozen bananas
1 bunch of Bok choy leaves (or other greens)
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 handful of blackberries
1 handful of blueberries
1/2 tbsp blue spirulina
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup of ice (as needed)

TOPPINGS:
Coconut flakes
Blueberries
Blackberries

Preparation

1. Add ingredients to a blender and mix until fully combined.
2. Garnish with toppings and enjoy!
