Fresh is best
A little ASMR for homemade tortilla chips which have never been easier and tastier than the packed ones. A lot of packaged tortilla chips contain vegetable oils like corn, canola, safflower, sunflower, and even cottonseed oil. These oils are highly inflammatory in our body and increase risk for disease, store excess fat, and accelerate cancer cell growth.
The good news is these chips take 10 minutes to make fresh, require a lot less oil (and the healthy kind), and you get to control the ingredients. Finish with a little lime and you have the perfect chip to dip into any salsa or guac!
P.S. The key to living a healthier lifestyle is not always giving up the things you love, but adapting them so they’ll love you back.
