Almond Carrot Top Pesto

Ingredients

1/3 cup vegan butter, 1/4 cup cocoa powder, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1/2 cup almond flour, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp vanilla extract. (or vegan alternative) (or vegan alternative)

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350. Melt butter in a pan and medium, stirring continuously. Stir until light brown flecks appear in the butter, then remove from heat.2. Pour butter over half the chocolate chips allowing them to melt. Then add the cocoa powder and mix until combined.3. In a separate bowl add the almond milk, sugar, brown sugar, yogurt, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk on medium speed until combined.4. Add the chocolate sauce into the mixture and mix. Then add the flour in. Be careful to not over mix, just until the flour is dissolved. (I over mixed a little in this video!).5. Add in the remaining chocolate chips, then add to a baking dish that is either lined with parchment paper, buttered, or sprayed.6. Cut the top of strawberries inward at the top and then down to create little heart shapes, then add to batter. ( Remaining in caption!).
