Spritz loaded with benefits
Berries are a powerful antioxidant that help fight inflammation, reduce blood sugar and insulin spikes, and help lower cholesterol. Studies also suggest they are good for your skin, protect against cancer, and keep your arteries healthy. The bottom line is adding berries into your diet is hugely beneficial and this berry spritz is a great way to start!
Ingredients
1. Add berries, sugar and water into a pan. Heat until berries break down.
2. Strain mixture and add to a glass.
3. Top glass with sparking water and squeeze lime juice.
4. Garnish with fresh berries.
Berry simple syrup:
1/2 cup blackberries
1/2 cup blueberries
1 cup of water
1/4 cup monk fruit sweetener
Drink:
2 oz simple syrup
4 oz sparkling water
Juice of half a lime
Garnish with fresh berries
